Once again, the Danish economy is prospering, and Pointer A/S has solved many exciting and demanding tasks for our clients in the past year. The need has especially been characterized by newly created management and specialist positions, which underline that we are in a period of growth. Our teams in Copenhagen, Aarhus and Greenland are ready to solve new, exciting and demanding tasks for our clients in 2018.

The digitalization of companies is well under way. In particular, we have been helped our clients with the recruitment of positions for digitalization of corporate customer contacts, and we can see that recruitment efforts now, more than previously, focus on digital core competencies. At Pointer A/S, we have equipped ourselves to meet the increased demand by internally focusing on digital competencies and networks.

The annual Pointer Survey focused on Generation Z (25-30 years old) and their expectations for the labor market. Generation Z is ambitious, curious and enterprising employees who must be constantly challenged in order to be attracted and retained in their positions. These employees are very focused on self-development and concentrate more on assignments and projects than traditional career development. This already sets new requirements for the ways companies develop and motivate employees.

2018 is also the year in which Pointer A/S, together with our clients and partners, can look forward to celebrating our 10 year anniversary as an independent subsidiary of Odgers Berndtson A/S.
